Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Pet grooming shop. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Document animal behaviour. Prepare food and feed animals. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Keep records of animals treated. Maintain and order supplies. Office management. Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages. Provide customer service. Handle cash transactions. Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field. Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.).
