About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems. Prepare tenders and quotations. Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. Supervise other workers. Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Team player. Employment terms options: Shift.
