We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and capable of supporting daily office operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Answer and direct telephone calls, screen for staff, and relay messages. Respond to general inquiries from staff, parents/guardians, and the public.
• Greet visitors, ensure proper sign-in, and direct them appropriately.
• Create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and emails using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Operate and troubleshoot common office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in organizational systems and databases.
• Organize and maintain both digital and paper filing systems.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail; receive and sign for deliveries.
• Maintain the conference room schedule and related logs.
• Monitor office supply inventory and submit timely purchase requests.
• Provide basic assistance and training to staff on office tools and software.
• Support the office and organization through additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or administrative training preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Previous office experience preferred.
