Your Mission <strong><u>What you’ll own</u></strong><br>You’ll take care of the day-to-day financial administration across our organisation, working closely with the wider Finance team and our external advisers.<br>In practice, that means:<br><ul><li>Keeping our bookkeeping and general ledger accurate and up to date</li><li>Processing purchase and sales invoices, expenses and journal entries</li><li>Managing accounts payable and receivable, including payment runs and outstanding balances</li><li>Reconciling bank accounts, subledgers and balance-sheet accounts</li><li>Supporting Dutch VAT returns, CBS reporting and other routine financial requirements</li><li>Supporting month-end closing and helping to maintain reliable financial reporting</li><li>Spotting practical ways to improve the quality and efficiency of our financial administration</li></ul> Your Profile <strong><u>What we’re looking for</u></strong><br>We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for the detail and can work independently without losing sight of the bigger picture.<br><br>You’ll ideally bring:<br><ul><li>Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial administration or a similar role</li><li>An MBO+/HBO qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of general ledger bookkeeping, journal entries, AP/AR and reconciliations</li><li>Experience with Dutch financial administration</li><li>Fluent Dutch and professional working proficiency in English</li><li>A structured, accurate and detail-oriented way of working</li><li>Confidence working independently, managing deadlines and taking ownership</li></ul>Experience with German bookkeeping or financial administration is a plus, as is experience working with multiple entities or in an international organisation.
