About this role

Your Mission We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to lead our people function across two main locations: Berlin and Elst in the Netherlands.<br>The role is part-time, three days a week, and reports directly to the CEO. You will lead a team of three: a talent acquisition specialist and an HR manager based in Berlin, and an HR administrator in Elst.<br>The scope is broad, running from operational HR delivery and payroll through to talent acquisition and culture.<br> <br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Managing day-to-day people matters, implementing HR projects and managing employee relation issues, to meet HR targets. </li><li>Managing payroll and HR administration across both locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local requirements in Germany and the Netherlands.</li><li>Maintaining and developing HR policies and practices, ensuring they are fit for a dynamic, growing and international organisation. </li><li>Leading the relationship with the works council in the Netherlands, managing consultation processes and day-to-day engagement in line with legal obligations.</li><li>Managing HR compliance and employee relations globally, with a focus on Germany, NL and the US, with a clear understanding of the differences between jurisdictions and how to navigate them.</li><li>Line managing and developing the three-person HR team, providing clear direction and maintaining consistent standards across two locations.</li><li>Overseeing talent acquisition activity, working with the in-house talent acquisition specialist to deliver hiring at the right pace and to the right standard.</li><li>Supporting the ongoing integration of the business and contributing to the development of a coherent culture globally.</li><li>Partnering directly with the management team on people issues as they arise, providing clear and considered advice.</li></ul> Your Profile <ul><li>An experienced HR generalist with a track record spanning the full range from operational delivery to business partnering, with a stronger emphasis on operational delivery.</li><li>Direct experience of the Dutch works council system and a solid grounding in European employee relations more broadly. You understand the differences between jurisdictions and manage them with confidence.</li><li>A background in a PE-backed or commercially driven environment is advantageous. You understand what it means to operate at pace in a performance-focused context with finite resources.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and sound commercial judgement. You are credible at both the operational and strategic level and are comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders.</li><li>Fluency in English, Dutch, and German.
