Purchasing AssociateKey ResponsibilitiesDaily

• Create and issue purchase orders (POs) for supplies and materials. • Track delivery dates and maintain follow-up schedules for open orders. • Communicate with vendors via phone and email regarding POs. • Respond to Customer Service requests involving purchase order and sales order combinations. • Review purchase orders, update notes, and maintain follow-up calendars. • Authorize payments and maintain receipts, purchasing records, and inventory documentation. • Obtain approvals for purchase orders on hold and process receipt of goods. Weekly

• Coordinate inbound and outbound vendor shipments, including required documentation. As Needed

• Communicate product availability to Inventory and Production teams. • Coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries. • Resolve vendor and shipment issues, including arranging replacements, rework, or credits. • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned. Monthly

• Review standing orders to ensure release dates remain on schedule. Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience OR • 3+ years of general administrative experience Technical Skills

• Experience creating and managing purchase orders. • ERP system experience preferred. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Communication Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders. Other Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail. • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
