Purchasing Coordinator Location: Onsite Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We're looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support a busy manufacturing operation by coordinating with vendors, maintaining purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring critical materials arrive when needed. You'll work closely with Purchasing, Production, Operations, and Finance teams, gaining valuable exposure to multiple areas of the business.
What You'll Be Doing As a Purchasing Clerk, you'll serve as a key point of contact between suppliers and internal teams to help ensure materials are available to support production needs. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Maintain and update purchase orders within the ERP system • Monitor open and past-due orders to ensure on-time delivery • Communicate directly with local and national vendors regarding order status and shipping timelines • Follow up proactively on delays, shortages, and delivery issues • Track incoming shipments and provide status updates to internal stakeholders • Ensure purchasing records and documentation remain accurate and up to date • Support invoice reconciliation, reporting, and purchasing administration • Partner with Operations, Production, and Finance teams to maintain material availability • Assist the purchasing team with backlog reduction and process improvement efforts What Makes You a Great Fit We're looking for someone who is:✅ Organized and detail-oriented✅ Comfortable communicating with vendors and suppliers✅ Confident following up and holding vendors accountable to commitments✅ Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment✅ Proactive in identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations
Preferred Experience
• ERP system experience (Acumatica preferred but not required) • Vendor coordination, customer service, logistics, supply chain, or purchasing experience • Manufacturing or operations experience • Purchase order management, order tracking, or procurement support experience Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Michael, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
