HR Data Specialist 📍 San Diego, CA | 🗓️ 9/80 Schedule | Every Other Friday OffLooking to build your career in HR Operations with a global organization? We're seeking an HR Data & Operations Specialist to join a high-performing HR Shared Services team supporting employee lifecycle transactions, HR systems, and data integrity across the organization.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, process improvement, and HR operations. You'll play a critical role in ensuring employee records are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready while partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition teams. What You'll Do
• Process high-volume employee transactions including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, organizational updates, and terminations • Maintain and update employee records across HR systems including SuccessFactors, SAP, and ServiceNow • Manage a high-volume HR case queue, ensuring timely and accurate resolution • Validate employee data, compensation information, reporting relationships, and effective dates • Perform audits and data reconciliations to ensure accuracy across multiple systems • Support I-9 compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and HR teams to ensure seamless employee lifecycle processing • Assist with process improvements, training initiatives, and operational excellence projects What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HRIS, or Payroll Support experience • Experience processing high-volume HR transactions • Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, including job changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations • Experience working with HR systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, or similar HRIS platforms • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, process-driven environment • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion Preferred Qualifications
• SuccessFactors Employee Central experience • HR Shared Services experience • Payroll transaction processing experience • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs) • Experience supporting compliance initiatives, audits, and HR data governance Why Join Us?

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
