About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of human resources, including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and performance management.As a key member of the HR team, you will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure HR programs and processes run efficiently and in compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time. • Calculate employee hours from various timekeeping systems and schedules. • Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) plans. • Complete bi-weekly 401(k) funding activities and monthly benefits reconciliation. • Manage Workers' Compensation claims, including reporting, documentation, and follow-up. • Support HR data collection and reporting for budgeting, audits, and special projects. • Coordinate and administer the annual Open Enrollment process. • Manage the annual performance review cycle. • Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation programs. • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews. • Foster positive employee relations and assist with employee engagement initiatives. • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies. Qualifications Required
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience, including payroll administration. • Hands-on experience processing payroll through ADP Workforce Now. • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including: • Pivot Tables • VLOOKUPs • Formulas and data analysis
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment. • Recruiting and talent acquisition experience. • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Brooklyn Center, MN 55428. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $82000.00/yr.
