Finance Manager, Operations Finance Position Summary We're seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a team of 5-8 analysts supporting Operations leadership. This role combines people leadership, forecasting, financial analysis, and executive partnership in a fast-paced operational environment.The ideal candidate has prior management experience, strong forecasting and budgeting skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights to senior leaders. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial analysts. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, EACs, financial modeling, and variance analysis. • Partner with Operations leadership and approximately 6-7 VPs on financial planning and decision support. • Review analyst work for accuracy, quality, and business relevance. • Analyze labor, spending, and operational variances and explain key drivers. • Translate financial results into clear business recommendations. • Improve reporting, forecasting processes, and analytical tools. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field. Open to other Bachelor's depending on work experience. • 8+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, operational finance, project finance, or related experience. • Prior people-management experience. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. • Strong Excel skills. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Experience supporting or presenting to senior leadership. Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace & Defense, Government Contracting, Manufacturing, Program Finance, or Operational Finance experience. • Estimate at Completion (EAC) experience. • Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge. • SAP and/or Power BI familiarity. • Exposure to FAR, DFARS, or government contracting environments. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Poway, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
