Salary: £62,000 - 62,000 per year
Requirements: Strong background in software testing, QA strategy and test automation.Hands-on experience writing automation scripts using Python, Java or JavaScript with frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit or TestNG.Good knowledge of CI/CD, build automation and integrating automated testing into active development pipelines.Experience coaching colleagues, investigating complex technical failures and influencing quality-focused engineering practices.Knowledge of performance testing, security testing or WCAG accessibility standards would be advantageous. Responsibilities: Own test strategy and planning within a cross-functional Scrum team, ensuring strong coverage including edge cases.Design, maintain and expand automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, JUnit and TestNG.Embed automated regression testing into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, continuous software delivery.Deliver performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or Gatling while incorporating security, usability and accessibility considerations.Support and mentor colleagues, promoting shared ownership of software quality and effective testing practices.Manage defect tracking, test data and testing environments while investigating complex failures to identify root causes.
