Requirements: Proven experience working within a Tier 1 security operations environment for an MSP, supporting corporate clientsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and Endpoint Detection and Response technologiesUnderstanding of Microsoft 365 cloud technologies from a cyber threat and security perspectiveSC-200 Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate and SC-900 Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals, or currently studying towards these certificationsStrong client service, incident communication and telephone skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities during active security events Responsibilities: Monitor, triage and provide the first line of defence for incidents across the organisation and managed security serviceInvestigate alerts, identify false positives and prioritise genuine threats based on severity and potential impactFollow established playbooks to carry out remedial actions, escalating more complex or urgent incidents where requiredManage technical, stakeholder and client communications throughout active incidents, providing clear and concise updatesLiaise with third-party service providers when required, logging tickets and coordinating activity through to resolutionMaintain a professional, customer-focused service throughout each ticket lifecycle, keeping clients informed of progress and managing expectations Technologies: CloudMicrosoft 365SecurityOffice 365 More:
We are an established MSP in Londons West End, working within a growing UK-based team that supports corporate clients and protects their systems from emerging cyber threats. This is a permanent opportunity within a growing managed services environment, with gym membership and Vitality at Work rewards and benefits, 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays increasing with service up to 25 days, a company pension, employee mentoring programme, paid volunteer time, Cycle to Work scheme, team events, games nights and regular team activities. We also offer opportunities for continued development within an established cyber security environment, and the role follows a 7.5-hour day on a fortnightly shift pattern covering 8:00am–4:30pm, 9:00am–5:30pm or 9:30am–6:00pm.
