Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements: We can define design strategy and communicate benefits to senior stakeholders.We can identify and design ideation methods appropriate to the business context and project requirements.We use journey maps to inform business and customer recommendations.We coordinate the production of prototypes to meet the needs of user testing and development.We can conduct usability testing and incorporate research into design strategy.We collaborate to create new information architecture based on analysis and research.We advocate and promote accessibility and AD standards across projects.We guide other teams and stakeholders in best practice for user-centred design across a project lifecycle.We mentor junior team members and represent UX design across Kainos.We have demonstrated ability in managing, coaching, and developing members of our team and wider community.Desirable: experience working with Agile delivery methodologies.Desirable: experience assisting with or conducting research and analysing findings to identify content needs.Desirable: experience working in a full-service digital agency environment.Desirable: active member of relevant communities, such as online groups or speaking at conferences. Responsibilities: We deliver intuitive service experiences based on user needs and design principles.We are passionate about needs-based design and advocate for design thinking and service design.We manage, coach, and develop a small number of staff, with a focus on employee performance and career development.We are part of and supported by our growing Experience Design capability creating exemplary digital services.
