Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: Proven experience supporting and managing enterprise security technologies and operational security controlsStrong knowledge of Security Operations, incident response, threat detection and vulnerability management principlesExperience working with security tooling such as Microsoft Defender, MDR platforms and monitoring solutionsAbility to investigate complex security incidents and implement effective and timely remediation activitiesStrong understanding of Information Security frameworks, regulatory requirements and security best practicesExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesPassion for continuous improvement and keeping up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities and industry developments Responsibilities: We manage and support core Security Operations tools and platforms, ensuring they remain effective, secure and aligned to business requirementsWe act as the technical subject matter expert for security technologies, providing specialist support and driving improvements to security capabilitiesWe monitor security alerts, events and incidents, leading investigations and coordinating timely and effective responsesWe support the delivery of security projects and initiatives, helping to strengthen the organisations overall security postureWe work closely with Information Security, IT and Architecture teams to implement and maintain robust security controlsWe manage vulnerability remediation activities, ensuring security risks are identified, prioritised and addressed appropriatelyWe build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and technology partners to support effective security operationsWe develop and maintain security documentation, operational procedures and incident response playbooksWe support penetration testing activities and coordinate the remediation of identified findingsWe contribute to the ongoing enhancement of monitoring, detection and response processes across the Security Operations functionWe keep up to speed with emerging threats, vulnerabilities and industry developments to support continuous improvement and risk reduction Technologies: SupportSecurity More:
We are partnering directly with Vitality to hire a Senior Security Operations Engineer for our Information Security team. This is a hybrid role based in our Bournemouth office, with two days per week onsite, and is full time at 35 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working.
