Welcoming you to the team As PWR-T Industrial Finance Director , you will join the Power Transmission Finance team and report directly to the VP Finance . You are the key Business Partner of the PWR-T Industrial Director , with transversal responsibility over the sites of Halden, Charleston and Charleroi . You will: Lead industrial finance processes in close collaboration with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Project teams. Coordinate a multi-site Plant Controlling team , supporting and developing the controllers. Collaborate daily with Group Finance functions, VP Industrial, plant managers and EPCI project teams. How you make an impact In this role, you are at the core of the industrial performance of three key Nexans plants. 1. Industrial financial processes You lead the main industrial financial processes for the plants in Halden, Charleston and Charleroi: Pacing and monitoring of performance. Annual plan and strategic plan. Forecasting and variance analysis. Monthly closing. You consolidate and analyse industrial financial performance (P&L, cash-flow, capex, operational performance) and ensure robust and timely reporting , in line with Group requirements for these three plants. 2. Performance review & business partnering You coordinate and prepare industrial financial performance reviews and ad hoc analyses for Halden, Charleston and Charleroi. As a trusted business partner , you challenge assumptions, co-build action plans and support decision-making with Plant Management, Operations and Supply Chain teams. You contribute to simplifying, improving and standardizing financial processes and to developing standard tools to strengthen the financial performance of the plants. 3. Internal control & compliance You ensure robust internal controls and compliance of the plants’ financial practices with the Nexans Finance Manual and Group policies . You supervise key processes such as metal management, costing, capex follow-up, inventory valuation , and you foster a strong internal control culture (segregation of duties, access rights to financial systems). 4. Support to EPCI project community You support the EPCI project community by providing industrial performance analyses (capacity, costs, performance) from Halden, Charleston and Charleroi, helping to secure project margins and successful delivery . 5. Leadership & team management You lead and develop a multi-site Plant Controlling team by: Developing their skills and expertise. Harmonizing practices and standards. Organizing workload, setting priorities, and promoting autonomy and accountability. Fostering collaboration and sharing of best practices across the plants. Your starting point To succeed in this role, you bring the following profile: Education University degree (Bachelor or higher) in Accounting, Finance or MBA (or equivalent) . Professional experience At least 15 years of experience in Finance / Industrial Controlling, including minimum 5 years in a leadership role . Strong experience in industrial multi-site environments , ideally with plants comparable to Halden, Charleston and Charleroi. Technical & professional skills Excellent analytical and financial skills and the ability to translate plant data into clear recommendations for management. Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (plan, forecast, closing, performance review). Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and BI / reporting tools used in Finance and Controlling. Solid understanding of internal control and compliance frameworks (Finance Manual, Group policies). Leadership & soft skills Strong leadership skills , with a proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams , particularly multi-site plant controllers. Excellent communication skills , enabling effective interaction with senior leaders in Industrial, Finance and Project organizations. Strong results orientation , ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Solid experience in change management , with a track record of simplifying processes and standardizing practices in industrial environments. Languages Fluent English is mandatory (international environment, multi-site stakeholders). Key interfaces In your missions, you will interact daily with: Finance at Group corporate level. Position sizing Direct responsibility for the industrial financial management of the plants in Halden (Norway), Charleston (USA) and Charleroi (Belgium) .
