As part of our growth, we are creating a new Extrusion Process Engineer position to support our manufacturing sites in optimizing their industrial performance. You will work in an international, collaborative, and innovative environment at the crossroads of R&D, manufacturing, simulation, and industrial testing. 🚀 WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Extrusion Process Engineer, you will be recognized as a technical expert in cable manufacturing processes and will contribute directly to the performance of our industrial sites worldwide. Your Key Responsibilities Analyze production data and provide process optimization recommendations. Perform numerical simulations of extrusion line components. Support manufacturing sites in solving complex industrial challenges, including: Increasing line speed Reducing quality defects Solving ovality issues Reducing material self-heating Driving continuous improvement initiatives Participate in industrial trials to validate proposed technical solutions. Develop innovative process solutions using rheology, modeling, and simulation concepts. Act as the technical interface between manufacturing plants and cross-functional teams. Collaborate closely with R&D, Purchasing, Industrial teams, and suppliers. Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices. Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to the development of team expertise. ✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education Engineering degree in one of the following fields: Materials Engineering Polymer Science / Plastics Engineering Process Engineering Numerical Simulation A PhD or specialization in Rheology or Materials Science would be considered a strong advantage. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of polymer materials and rheological behavior. Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Catia, or equivalent tools. Expertise in numerical simulation and finite element analysis. Strong data analysis capabilities. Interest in correlating simulation results with real industrial performance. Professional level of English for international collaboration.
