Job Description POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY Provide expertise in the overall establishment of BIM implementation for project and MAHB group. The appointed BIM Specialist will be the focal point for assessing, reviewing, advising, recommending, and overseeing the implementation of the BIM in compliance with local and international standards. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS To anchor and provide expert advice on BIM implementation during pre-construction, construction, and post construction stage of the project To review and recommend for approval of any BIM-related submissions throughout the project implementation inclusive but not limited to BIM Execution Plan, BIM Facilities, BIM Models, BIM Quality Assurance (QA) Validation Matrix, etc To provide expert and professional advice in establishing Common Data Environment (CDE), Project Information Managament and collaborative working management including processes and procedures for information exchange on projects; initiating and implementing the Project Information Plan and Asset Information Plan; assisting in preparation of Project Outputs; and Implementation of the BIM Protocol, including the updating of the Model Production Delivery Table. To provide input on BIM Training requirements; BIM Facilities requirements; Employers Information Requirements (EIRs); BIM Protocols; and other necessary items which are deemed required for BIM implementation. Other relevant tasks as and when required to ensure successful implementation of Building Information Modelling for the project Key Challenges Compliance with various regulatories locally and internationally Skills Good communication and collaboration skills Strong understanding and conscious of safe work practise Efficiency driven and conscious on costs, risks, wastage surrounding project environment Relevant Industries Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or any relevant accredited degree. Unique Requirement Strong technical knowledge in BIM implementation and project management that utilise the BIM platfroms and tools in multi disciplinary and mega project.
