Wood is recruiting for a Rotational Support Engineer- Electrical Engineer. This is a contract opportunity, working out of our Sunbury office on a hybrid basis.

The Role

The rotational support Electrical Engineer will provide electrical engineering (EE) expertise to site-based teams by performing and reviewing complex, or non-routine electrical engineering calculation and analyses.

The role involves providing electrical engineering support for technical changes, risk assessments, incident investigations, and equipment performance.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Provides EE expertise to technical Management of Change (MoCs) and Engineering Queries (EQs) • Provides EE expertise to hazard identification and risk assessment processes • Provides EE expertise in performing incident investigations and defect assessments • Ensures that the inspection, testing, maintenance and condition monitoring tasks are aligned with the technical intent of Equipment Strategies • Develops and updates the technical content of Equipment Strategies based on equipment performance feedback and performs periodical review of planned inspection & maintenance effectiveness • Performs reliability analysis for electrical equipment using surveillance, maintenance and condition monitoring data, and trends performance metrics • Provides EE expertise to delivery of Kirkuk actions. Leads on resolution of complex, multi-discipline technical issues where the dominant component is electrical engineering • Write, review, recommend technical input into Site Operations Procedures (SOPs) • Provides EE coaching to North Oil Company (NOC) and North Gas Company (NGC) engineers • Generates, revises, reviews discipline Technical Documentation

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline • Substantial experience and technical understanding of engineering, maintenance and operation of electrical equipment in oil & gas facilities • Knowledge of governing codes, industry standards and local regulations relevant to electrical engineering, and proven ability in practical application of engineering standards and practices for electrical equipment • Sound stakeholder management experience
