Job Summary:
The Senior Experiential Events Officer is the primary develop and execute as host of all PBIS events — responsible for overall project management: Event Development Concept, logistical planning, budgeting, on-the-day management, MC and facilitation delivery, and post-event follow-up.
The postholder works under the direction of the Experiential Events Manager and mentoring Events Assistant, ensuring every event is executed professionally, on time, and within budget.
A. Event Planning and Logistics
• Plan all logistical aspects of assigned events: venue setup, equipment, materials, catering, AV, guest registration, and event staffing.
• Produce a detailed event run-sheet for every event at least 5 days in advance: timings, responsibilities, and contingency plans.
• Brief Events Assistant clearly on pre-event tasks and on-day
• Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, safety, and school policy obligations for every
B. Event Facilitation
• Serve as PBIS's primary MC for all Open Days, Information Evenings, Career Fairs, and community events — commanding the room with warmth, clarity, and confidence.
• Ensure clear communication, smooth event flow, and a positive, memorable experience for all prospective families and stakeholders from arrival to departure.
• Design and deliver the guest journey for each event: welcome, registration, presentations, tours, Q&A, and
• Brief and coordinate presenting staff before each event: purpose, key messages, audience profile, and

C. Event Coordination
• Coordinate closely with relevant departments and stakeholders, including Operations, Administration, Academics, Finance, Marketing & Communications, HR and other teams, to ensure all event requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Lead coordination meetings, establish clear responsibilities and deadlines, and maintain regular communication and follow-up with all staff and departments involved.
• Monitor task completion, identify gaps or operational issues, and coordinate timely solutions across departments.
• Ensure all teams have the required information, resources and support, and conduct final readiness checks before each event.
• Provide direct coordination and supervision of staff on event days, acting as the central point of coordination and ensuring smooth delivery and post-event follow-up.
D. On-the-Day Event Execution
• Arrive at the venue early and ensure all setup is complete before guests
• Manage the full event schedule on the day — keeping everything on time without the audience sensing
• Proactively handle arising issues and troubleshoot emerging problems so the guest experience is never

• Conduct post-event evaluations and report outcomes to the Experiential Events

F. Community Relations
• Build and maintain relationships with community organisations, venues, and event
• Propose ideas to improve event quality, guest experience, and community
• Identify new community event opportunities that can generate PBIS brand awareness and enrolment
Experience, Expertise and Skills
• Experience in organising and hosting large-scale events, conferences, or school
• Proven ability as an MC or event host: confident, warm, and engaging in front of an
