About this role

The Marketing Manager , Corporate Accounts Preventive Care is the marketing engine behind IDEXX's corporate account preventive care growth play. Most of your time goes to developing the growth playbook and everything that makes it work, including the toolkit, the resources, the reporting — in close partnership with the preventive care marketing team and the commercial organization.

Why this role matters: You will also partner with the commercial teams to bring preventive care subject matter expertise to customer conversations as needed. You will develop a strong feel for what resonates with C-suite audiences; how corporate groups are structured, how decisions get made, and what their medical, operations, and financial leaders are measured on. Connecting our best practices to the outcomes those leaders care about is what turns a playbook concept into a path to organic growth for both the corporate group and IDEXX.

In this role: Preventive Care Subject Matter Expertise

• You will join customer engagements when the account team brings you in, contributing the expertise that strengthens their conversation • You will lead the discussion when the topic calls for it, such as a technical deep dive, or a group working through implementation questions • You will present the growth playbook's best practices and the evidence behind them in language a corporate audience can act on • You will answer the practical questions adoption raises: data foundations, diagnostic profile options, technology optimization, and client communications • You will bring back what you hear so the playbook reflects what customers and account teams actually respond to. • You will partner with commercial and account teams in their customer conversations, bringing preventive care depth when they need it.

Growth Playbook Enablement

• You will support development of the growth play toolkit: the materials, templates, and resources account teams need to run these initiatives • You will drive build projects forward: shape the scope, line up the internal partners required, hold the timeline, and deliver • You will stay close to the commercial team to understand what they need, what is working in the field, and where the gaps are • You will codify what works and what does not from each initiative into documented, reusable best practices • You will build the evidence behind each recommendation including utilization data and customer results and turn it into the proof points the commercial team uses with other groups • You will develop the reporting that shows how initiatives are performing and makes results comparable across groups • You will identify which best practices are driving lift and which are not, and feed that back into the playbook • You will partner with the training organization to turn the playbook into field training, supplying the content and subject matter input while they own the curriculum and delivery • You will align cross-functional partners — marketing centers of excellence, medical affairs, analytics, and software — around what needs to get built • You will keep the playbook current as IDEXX capabilities evolve, and retire what no longer holds • You will partner with the preventive care marketing team to develop the growth playbook and everything that makes it usable, including the toolkit, the resources, the reporting, and the projects required to build them

Who You'll Work With:

• Commercial leaders and account managers across corporate accounts in both North America and International markets • Corporate accounts marketing colleagues and preventive care line of business stakeholders • Medical, operations, and marketing leadership within corporate veterinary groups • Medical affairs, analytics, and IDEXX marketing centers of excellence

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred • 8+ years of experience in commercial marketing, sales enablement, or other customer-facing commercial roles • Credible and confident customer-facing presence with senior corporate stakeholders • Track record of driving adoption or behavior change at scale across a distributed set of locations • Proven ability to teach and enable others through training, coaching, or field partnership • Comfortable and credible in front of customers, and able to lead a conversation when the situation calls for it • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional projects from definition through delivery without formal authority over the contributors • Willingness to travel to customer sites and regional offices, including international travel • Success in this role requires the ability to influence without authority and build credibility with both internal partners and customer leadership

Preferred:

• Animal health, veterinary, or broader healthcare experience • Working knowledge of veterinary practice operations and corporate veterinary group dynamics • Formal change management experience or training • Experience deploying best-practice frameworks or enablement resources across a distributed organization
