Job Title: Construction ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Traveling Construction Manager/Superintendent to oversee construction projects across various locations in the country. The initial project involves the construction of a wastewater/biogas renewable plant in Burley, Idaho, with a budget of $300 million. This role requires a commitment to staying on-site for over two years. Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure project success. • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to meet project goals. • Enforce safety standards and maintain a healthy working environment. • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules with the project team. • Plan, coordinate, and execute critical work tasks. • Oversee job site mobilization, movement, and demobilization logistics. • Review and approve daily work tickets, maintaining logs of on-site work. • Coordinate efforts between subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and consultants. • Communicate company goals, policies, and priorities to field personnel. • Manage project costs and handle changes in project scope. • Complete close-out punch lists and commissioning activities efficiently. • Review contracts, submittals, and installation documents for compliance. • Assist the engineering team with writing and reviewing work scopes. • Resolve disputes with subcontractors and ensure smooth operations. • Schedule and deliver training to facility personnel during building turnover. • Prepare and distribute daily Construction Manager reports. • Address and resolve client concerns promptly. • Identify potential issues and solve problems proactively. Essential Skills • 10+ years of construction field management experience as a superintendent or construction manager. • Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, or other construction CRM software. • OSHA 30 certification. • Experience working on projects involving building structures/buildings. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Degree in engineering or construction management. • Proficiency in scheduling, punch list management, reporting, and field management. • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations. Work EnvironmentThis role requires extensive travel, as projects are located nationwide. The primary worksite for the initial project is in Burley, Idaho. The position offers a $5,000/month per diem stipend, covering trips home, lodging, and meals. The corporate office is based in Olathe, Kansas, but the Construction Manager will be situated at the job site. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring adaptability and commitment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
