WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications that support the organization’s operations. Supervise a team of support staff to ensure the efficient operation and continuous improvement of applications. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.
Business Applications Leadership A. Business Applications Administration & Governance
• Serve as primary liaison between Corporate Real Estate and Information Technology. • Provide leadership and oversight for Corporate Real Estate business applications including SharePoint, CoStar, Brivo, Microsoft 365 solutions, Power Platform solutions, and future department-supported applications. • Establish and maintain application governance standards and administration procedures. • Coordinate application upgrades, enhancements, testing, and implementation activities with stakeholders. • Oversee application security roles, permissions, and access management processes. • Monitor system performance, data integrity, user adoption, and business value. • Manage application vendors and support relationships. • Develop and maintain a business applications roadmap aligned with department objectives. B. Business Process Improvement & Technology Solutions
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational challenges and recommend technology-enabled solutions. • Evaluate application enhancement requests and prioritize based on business value and organizational impact. • Identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow automation, and efficiency gains. • Support development and implementation of electronic forms, workflows, reporting tools, and automation solutions. • Promote continuous improvement and adoption of best practices across department systems. • Serve as a resource for business process analysis and technology modernization initiatives. 2. Data, Reporting & User Support A. Data & Reporting
• Support data governance and data quality initiatives across business applications. • Collaborate with functional experts to improve reporting, dashboard, and business intelligence capabilities. • Ensure systems provide accurate and meaningful information to support business decisions. • Assist in identifying reporting requirements and opportunities for enhanced analytics. B. User Support & Communication
• Serve as escalation point for complex system issues and user concerns. • Coordinate communication regarding system changes, upgrades, and enhancements. • Partner with business units to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs. • Facilitate user engagement and application adoption efforts. • Support development of training resources, job aids, and user documentation. 3. Leadership & Staff Development A. Supervision
• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate assigned staff. • Establish performance expectations and accountability measures. • Prioritize, assign, and monitor work activities to ensure department objectives are achieved. • Promote a collaborative, customer-focused, and continuous improvement culture. • Support succession planning and employee development activities. B. Project & Change Management
• Lead technology-related projects and application improvement initiatives. • Coordinate planning, testing, deployment, communication, and implementation activities. • Support organizational change management efforts related to new technologies and processes. • Ensure projects align with strategic priorities and business objectives. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Knowledge of business application administration and governance. • Knowledge of business process improvement principles. • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, reporting, workflow, and automation platforms. • Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies. • Skill in supervising and developing employees. • Skill in business relationship management and stakeholder engagement. • Skill in strategic thinking, problem solving, and prioritization. • Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions. • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and projects. • Ability to balance operational requirements with long-term strategic objectives. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree desired. • Minimum 5 years of related experience in business applications, systems administration, business analysis, information systems, technology-enabled operations, or related field; preferably in Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Asset Management, or similar operational environments. • Minimum 2 years of supervisory, lead, project leadership, or team management experience. • Experience supporting enterprise business applications and working with business stakeholders to implement technology solutions. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
• Experience with CoStar, SharePoint, Brivo, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, workflow automation, or business intelligence solutions. • Experience leading business process improvement initiatives. • Experience managing vendor-supported applications and technology implementations. • Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Six Sigma, or related certification preferred.
PAY INFORMATION: The annual salary range for this position is $82,000 - $92,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
