Position Summary A highly motivated Intern with a background in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering or Software Engineering. In this role, you will tackle a critical operational challenge: transforming disorganized, scattered production and repair logs into a highly structured, centralized data ecosystem. Your primary objective will be to design, build, and deploy automated data pipelines and advanced dashboards that provide real-time visibility to department leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Centralization: Audit, clean, and consolidate disparate data sources scattered across regional spreadsheets, local files and departments. • Pipeline Data Engineering: Build and optimize relational data structures using Google BigQuery or advanced Google Sheets architecture. • Dashboard Development: Design and deploy intuitive, automated visualization dashboards using Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI. • Process Automation: Write scripts (e.g., Python, Google SQL or Google Apps Script) to automate manual data extraction and scheduling tasks. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Warehouse, Maintenance and Engineering Support Team to translate raw technical metrics into actionable departmental KPIs.
Required Qualifications
• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. • Database Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of SQL queries, data modelling, and database normalisation. • Analytics Tools: Hands-on familiarity with Google BigQuery, advanced Google Sheets formulas (e.g., Query, ArrayFormula), or cloud data warehouses. • Visualization: Experience creating clean, interactive user interfaces and performance dashboards. • Programming: Basic proficiency in Python, R, or Javascript/Google Apps Script is highly preferred.
