About this role
As an Inside Sales Lead, you will be the commercial contact for a dedicated portfolio of customer accounts across our Choline Chloride and Ruminant Encapsulation businesses, working both closely with customers and our sales team. You will build on trusted customer relationships, manage commercial activities from quotation through order fulfillment, and work closely with colleagues across Sales, Supply Chain, Technical Services and Customer Service to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This new role offers the opportunity to build up the processes and procedures for Inside Sales in an international environment and have a meaningful impact from day one. We offer a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to join Balchem during an exciting period of commercial growth and development. Key Responsibilities: Manage an existing international customer portfolio across the Choline Chloride and Ruminant Encapsulation portfolio. Act as the primary commercial contact for small-to- mid-ranged sized customer accounts. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through proactive remote account management, opportunity management (e.g. lead generation & pipeline management) and product negotiations. Lead CRM implementation, sales process optimization and maintaining accurate customer and commercial information in our CRM and ERP systems. Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Technical Services, Customer Service and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Handle customer enquiries, documentation requests, complaints and order-related activities professionally and efficiently. Monitor commercial performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support product launches, commercial projects and other business initiatives as required.
