About this role
Your responsibilities As <strong>QHSE Manager</strong> at Combi Lift, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems across marine transport, heavy-lift logistics, EPC project cargo, and onshore/offshore activities. You will ensure compliance with international standards, client requirements, and regional regulations while fostering a proactive safety culture and driving operational excellence.<br> <br><strong>Your responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Lead the development and governance of the Integrated QHSE Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001</li><li>Define QHSE policies, objectives, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy</li><li>Oversee QHSE performance across offices, ports, project sites, and offshore operations in the MEA region</li><li>Ensure risk assessments, method statements, and HAZID/HAZOP studies are completed for high-risk activities</li><li>Monitor operations for compliance with project-specific and legal requirements</li><li>Promote a safety-first culture through leadership engagement, training, and recognition programs</li><li>Deliver QHSE induction and ongoing training for employees, contractors, and visitors</li><li>Ensure compliance with UAE, MEA regional, and international regulations</li><li>Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, audits, and QHSE performance data</li><li>Prepare QHSE reports for management, clients, and regulators</li><li>Lead incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions</li><li>Identify and implement best practices for continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental performance</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline</li><li>Recognised QHSE certifications such as NEBOSH International Diploma, IOSH, and ISO Lead Auditor (9001, 14001, 45001)</li><li>8–10 years of QHSE management experience in heavy-lift logistics, EPC, or marine/offshore operations</li><li>Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and relevant HSE legislation</li><li>Proven ability to manage QHSE across multi-country MEA operations</li><li>Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage</li><li>Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and influencing abilities</li><li>Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in risk management</li><li>Proficient in QHSE management software and MS Office Suite</li></ul>You don’t meet all the requirements but are ready to take responsibility and make an impact?
