The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information
service to the Neurodevelopmental Team.
Provide a high-quality administration service to ensure the smooth operation of the NDP. Flexibly work within the administration team to deliver a wide range of services to clinicians, team leaders, and clinical managers as appropriate.
Offer a high-quality customer care first point of contact service via telephone, email, written correspondence, and face-to-face interactions. This may include delivering reception, patient admissions, and/or telephone helpline services, as well as supporting clinicians in coordinating their clinical workload.

Assist in providing an effective administrative service across the Neurodevelopmental Pathway (NDP) Service in the building to support the clinical functions of the Trust. Collaborate with colleagues, service users, and stakeholders to offer efficient clerical support.
Contribute to and influence the development of administration
services by collaborating with colleagues and management to form a
clear and coherent vision.
Competently use various computer systems for maintaining departmental/patient records, data, and statistics required by clinical services.
Continuously review and evaluate administrative systems, procedures, and associated policies to facilitate improvements and advancements.
Adhere to all Trust policies and procedures in fulfilling roles. Support the organisation's vision of excellence in all activities by promoting equal opportunities, fairness, equity, and inclusion through best practices.
About us You will be joining a supportive and developing Neurodevelopmental Pathway team committed to delivering high-quality, child and family-centred care. The team works collaboratively with clinicians, managers, administrative colleagues and wider partner services to ensure children, young people and families receive timely, coordinated and compassionate support. This is a busy and evolving service where excellent communication, organisation and a flexible approach are essential. Person Specification
Education and Qualifications Essential
Good level of basic education to include GCSE maths and English, NVQ level 2. ECDL or similar IT qualification.
Experience and Knowledge Essential
Previous clerical experience Proven experience in delivering a range of administration tasks to a high standard Experience of working with the public /in a customer care environment Experience of working in a team Experience of the delivery of objectives within a constantly changing environment
Desirable
Experience of working in the NHS / EMIS system
Skills and Ability Essential
Good interpersonal and communication skills with experience of dealing with people at a variety of levels Utilising IT data collection formats and databases to produce reports for management information Ability to act on own initiative within policies and procedures, referring to manager as required Basic Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Keyboard skills for the regular use of computer systems Typing skills and use of G2 Available to work occasional weekends Good organisational skills- able to deliver agreed objectives within an agreed timeframe Problem solving skills Excellent attention to detail
