The Role As a People Assistant at DAZN , you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our People (HR) function, helping ensure our people-related processes run efficiently and accurately. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their HR career in an international, fast-paced environment. You’ll be involved in a wide range of HR administrative tasks, including onboarding and offboarding, HR system updates, payroll coordination, and responding to employee queries. You’ll also support with employee documentation, data management, and compliance with local employment legislation. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Recruitment , Payroll , and Global People teams to deliver a best-in-class employee experience in the UK and internationally. This role will be based in our Madrid office. Please note, our Talent Acquisition team and some Hiring teams are based in the UK so parts of the recruitment process will be in English. Act as a first point of contact for general employee HR queries, ensuring a professional and timely response. Prepare and manage employee documentation, including contracts, promotion letters, resignations, and parental leave notices (UK & international). Support processes related to secondments, relocations, and visa applications. Maintain and update employee data in our HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including system setup and documentation. Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll changes (e.g. new joiners, leavers, compensation updates). Provide administrative support for employee relations matters and exit interviews. Raise and manage purchase orders and HR-related invoices. Assist in reviewing and maintaining HR policies and documentation in line with local employment law. Support ad-hoc HR projects and provide general administrative support to the People team.
