About this role

The Indirects Procurement Manager is a pivotal, company-wide role responsible for the end-to-end management, mapping, and optimization of Field’s corporate and operational indirect expenditure. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will build a robust indirect procurement function from scratch—acting as a crucial commercial business partner to our global HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and Engineering teams. This is a globally focused position. We require an agile operator with extensive international experience who has supported and scaled operations across multiple jurisdictions (including the UK, Germany, Spain, and Italy). Leveraging a strong legal background or degree, you will directly navigate, draft, and negotiate complex commercial contract schedules, global SaaS licensing agreements, and cross-border service contracts. Thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth scale-up environment is essential. You must be able to map fragmented company expenses, run efficient tenders under tight timelines, and establish robust procurement protocols that protect cash flow and support our rapid global expansion. Main responsibilities: Global Expense Mapping & Strategic Sourcing Cross-Jurisdictional Spend Diagnostics: Conduct a comprehensive audit of all company-wide indirect expenses across our UK and European entities to build Field’s first unified global indirect spend matrix. Global Supplier Consolidation: Identify opportunities to consolidate vendor pools across international lines (e.g., consultants, recruitment agencies, travel management, and workspace facilities) to leverage portfolio volumes for bulk discounts. Process Standardization: Build simple, accessible procurement templates and buying guidelines so that busy internal teams across different countries can buy autonomously while remaining commercially protected. Deep Cross-Functional Corporate Scope Human Resources (HR) & People Operations: Partner with HR to tender and manage high-value global benefits packages, insurance policies, international recruitment frameworks, and relocation or contingent labor services. Finance & Subscriptions: Support Finance by auditing and negotiating corporate financial tools, tax advisory contracts, and audit services. Map, centralize, and rationalize all software subscriptions across departments to eliminate overlap and optimize global license tiers. Engineering, IT & Cyber: Work alongside technical and IT teams to negotiate complex software licenses, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), hardware procurement, and global telecommunications contracts. Operations & Workspaces: Manage facilities contracts, office leases, health and safety providers, and corporate travel programs across all localized European hubs. Tender Leadership & Contractual Excellence End-to-End International Tenders: Design and execute standard RFP/RFQ processes for global indirect services, ensuring clear evaluation criteria and multi-option worked solutions. Direct Contract Ownership: Draft and negotiate commercial schedules, Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and SLA terms directly—ensuring the legal department has a clean framework for final sign-off without creating bottlenecks. Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure vendor contract terms protect Field’s data security, intellectual property, and regulatory alignment across our various international jurisdictions.
