About the Role The Publishing Administrator: POs/General/Travel provides administration, project co-ordination, supplier management and reporting support for multiple teams and projects. The Publishing Administrator takes overall responsibility for efficiently and accurately managing all purchase orders and travel requests across the team, as well as general support functions such as arranging meetings, processing courier requests and managing gratis copies. The Publishing Administrator may be asked to focus on general or specific tasks or to support specific teams as determined from time to time by the priorities of the team. This role will be reporting to the Editorial Services and Workflow Manager based in Goodwood, Cape Town. Opportunity What you will do: Provide administrative support to the product teams Process purchase orders and payments for vendors Manage the distribution of advance copies Manage administration for meetings and small events Coordinate travel arrangements Assist the product team with ad-hoc administrative tasks Cross-functional collaboration and relationships Works closely with and fosters ongoing positive relationships and workflow best practice with Product, Rights, Finance and Royalties teams Develops and maintains productive working relationships with all stakeholders that leads to the creation of market-leading products and services About you Criteria National Senior Certificate or National Certificate Vocational or Equivalent NATED or NCV qualification 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience Minimum of 2 years' administrative system experience Experiencing processing POs and running regular PO, stock and other reports.
