Opportunity Overview The Field Application Engineer (FAE) plays a key role in supporting customer projects and technical engagements for power, analog, and linear semiconductor applications. This position works closely with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver application development, technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training on the Teradyne ETS-800 semiconductor test platform. Develop, debug, and optimize semiconductor test programs for power, analog, mixed-signal, and linear semiconductor devices. Support customer test development projects from evaluation through production ramp. Partner with customers to define test strategies, hardware requirements, and production test methodologies. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, correlation, yield, and throughput-related issues on the ETS-800 platform. Collaborate with global engineering teams to investigate and resolve complex technical challenges and customer escalations. Deliver customer training and technical guidance on the ETS-800 platform while promoting application best practices. All About You We seek individuals who share our passion and determination. Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, application engineering, product engineering, or a related technical role. Knowledge of power management, analog, mixed-signal, or linear semiconductor devices. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with the Teradyne ETS-800 / 88 semiconductor ATE platform. Experience with comparable semiconductor ATE platforms, including Advantest V93000 (V93K), ChangChuan Technologies (CCT), or AccoTEST platforms. Experience in test program development and debug, device characterization and production test, yield improvement and test cost optimization, multisite test development and throughput optimization, or DIB/load board interaction and hardware bring-up. Customer-focused approach with the ability to independently drive project execution while collaborating effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
