About The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day success of our services, working closely with the Registered Manager to provide confident operational support, visible leadership and clear oversight across the team.

This is a hands-on, rewarding role where you will help ensure that every service we deliver is safe, caring, responsive, effective and well led. You will support teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while helping to maintain strong standards against organisational expectations and regulatory KPIs.

You will make sure the people we support receive care that truly reflects their individual needs, with regular reviews, thoughtful planning and a consistent focus on dignity, independence, safety, quality of life and positive outcomes.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will help keep services running smoothly, support staff to perform at their best and step up with confidence to take full responsibility when needed. It is a varied, influential role for someone who enjoys leading by example and making a meaningful difference every day.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tosupportthe Registered Manager with oversight of multiple services, ensuring compliance is maintained at all times in line with regulatory and organisational standards. Tosupportthe Registered Manager with line management, leadership, and development of staff across your services, including Care Managers, Seniors, andSupportWorkers. To ensure that operational and quality assurance KPIs are consistently met, working closely with the Registered Manager to drive continuous improvement. Toactivelypromote the business and maintain positive relationships with people wesupport, families, professionals, and stakeholders through excellent communication and customer service. To prepare, manage, and oversee staff rotas across services, ensuring resources are effectively utilised and care delivery remains consistent. Tosupportthe Registered Manager in budget management and promote financial discipline across services. To ensure that Agincare Enables values of holistic, person-centred care are embedded across all services,supportingindividuals to achieve positive, outcome-based goals. Tosupportthe Registered Manager in ensuring all safeguarding concerns and notifiable events are managed appropriately and reported to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) within required timescales. To attend and contribute to meetings as required, ensuring actions are clearly identified and followed through to completion. To undertake shifts within services where required, role modelling best practice andsupportingteams to deliver high-quality care that promotes independence. To act as a role model in adhering to all company policies and procedures. To undertake on-call duties as part of a rota system, ensuring effective out-of-hourssupportis available across the services. Any other duties that are commensurate with the role and level of responsibility.About You

QCF Level 4 or 5/RMA/Health & Social Care or prepared to undertake Previous Leadership and Management experience in a similar environment or proven experience as a SeniorSupportWorker Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the care sector and the regulatory framework Proven IT experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills at a range of levels Must have a valid UK Driving LicenseWhats on Offer

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

QCF Level 4 or 5/RMA/Health & Social Care or prepared to undertake. Previous Leadership and Management experience in a similar environment or proven experience as a Senior Support Worker. Valid UK Driving License. IT experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
