At CSC, we're witnessing an increasing demand for talented people adept in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, complemented by robust communication and judgment skills. We're seeking an enthusiastic Expert Client Accountant to join us in reviewing financial statements, preparing financial reports, and ensuring bookkeeping accuracy for individuals and corporations. We're looking for a dynamic, team player with strong analytical and communication skills, good knowledge of financial statement preparation, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping. Some of the things you’ll be doing
• Contribute to or manage end-to-end production processes in coordination with clients, local accountants, and auditors, with the level of responsibility depending on client complexity and under the guidance of senior team members where required
• Prepare or review IFRS and/or consolidated annual accounts, reports, and other financial deliverables, taking into consideration the complexity of the engagement
• Draft or assess or review memos supporting accounting treatments for complex transactions, particularly under IFRS
• Coach and support junior team members, fostering their professional development
• Participate in performance appraisal processes and provide constructive feedback
• Design and deliver internal training sessions on technical and regulatory topics
• Maintain awareness of information security risks and follow established security policies and procedures
• Contribute to maintaining accurate, complete, and compliant financial records through attention to detail and adherence to internal controls
• Support the prevention of fraud, errors, and misuse by following company policies and reporting potential issues when identified
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
• CA-qualified candidates and non-qualified candidates with relevant experience (5-8 years) in IFRS and financial statement consolidation will be considered
• Strong professional experience in audit, financial reporting, and consolidation matters, ideally within the Luxembourg financial sector
• Solid knowledge of IFRS, particularly in the context of holding structures, real estate, and private equity
• Familiarity with consolidation tools/software is a strong asset
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and hands-on, with the ability to thrive under tight deadlines
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential
