What You'll Do
Own Deal Desk support for larger and more strategic deals in your assigned region, embedded directly with assigned AEsProactively initiate deal strategy conversations with sellers ahead of key milestones, flagging early where a deal may need extra structuring timeDocument the sequence of events required to close each assigned deal and track progress against itParticipate in regular cadence meetings with account teams to support deal velocity from inception to closureOwn deal structuring and documentation, including order form updatesSecure required internal approvals and coordinate directly with Legal on standard contract terms and redlines, looping in senior team members for non-standard or higher-risk termsJoin customer calls when needed to clarify deal terms and help remove friction to closeRespond to account teams' deal-related questions and provide playbook guidance for common deal scenariosSupport quarter-end and month-end close periods, including occasional after-hours availability during peak windowsContribute to team targets on deal cycle time, approval turnaround, accuracy, and Sales satisfaction 8-10 years of relevant experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar deal-support functionExperience supporting AEs directly on deals of varying complexity, including exposure to enterprise or larger accountsWorking knowledge of contract structuring, order forms, and standard commercial and pricing termsComfort coordinating with Legal on redlines, with good judgment for recognizing when to escalate non-standard termsClear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort joining customer calls when neededAbility to manage multiple concurrent deals under deadline pressure, particularly during close periodsA detail-oriented, process-driven approach to documentation and approvals At Freshworks, we have fostered an environment that enables everyone to find their true potential, purpose, and passion, welcoming colleagues of all backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and ethnicities.
