The company
Looper Insights builds analytics products that help the world’s leading media and entertainment companies understand how their content is performing across digital platforms (Disney, Amazon Prime, & Ofcom, to name a few). We provide visibility into where content appears, how it’s placed, and how it performs - enabling smarter commercial decisions, operational efficiency, and better outcomes for our clients. We’re building systems that operate at scale across a fast-changing digital landscape, and quality is a critical part of that.
We’re at an exciting time in our journey, scaling the business with ambitious growth goals to establish our metric MPV as a currency in the market. With a supportive, flexible culture and a talented global team, we collaborate closely to produce a valuable service for an industry about which we are all passionate.
The role
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Manual QA Engineer to help ensure our automated scan workflows run accurately, reliably, and at a consistently high standard according to defined specifications.
You’ll work on meaningful validation that directly impacts product quality by validating complex automated journeys, making sure that every run behaves exactly as expected, reliably captures the right content, and meets the technical standards required for accurate reporting at scale. Your work will directly impact the accuracy of the data our customers rely on.
While the focus today is manual validation, we’re actively moving toward a more automated QA approach. If you’re excited by the idea of improving processes, exploring automation, and using AI tools to boost efficiency, you’ll love it here.
What you’ll do
• Manually review automated scan runs to ensure they execute correctly and capture the expected outputs
• Validate results against documented specifications and acceptance criteria
• Spot inconsistencies, failures, edge cases, and unexpected platform behaviour
• Write clear, actionable bug reports and collaborate closely with Engineering to resolve issues
• Re-test fixes and support regression validation
• Maintain structured QA documentation and validation processes
• Contribute to improving QA efficiency through automation and AI-assisted tools
• Work with Git-based repositories and internal collaboration tools (Slack, email, ticketing systems)
• Take part in cross-functional quality discussions as we scale the platform
What we’re looking for
• 2-4 years of experience in QA / software testing
• Strong attention to detail and a naturally analytical mindset
• Confidence validating workflows against defined requirements/specifications
• Solid understanding of software behaviour and testing principles
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and modern collaboration tools
• Strong written and spoken English (essential)
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of quality outcomes
Even better if
• Exposure to automation or scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Interest in or experience using AI tools to improve productivity
• Experience in teams moving from manual QA toward automation
• Familiarity working in agile, fast-paced product environments
What you’ll get
• 27 days holiday
• Annual paid day off for charity work
• Enhanced parental leave
• L&D support, including AI training & access to tools
• Flexible working environment - outcome over hours worked
• Payment towards health insurance
