Job Posting Title Quality Specialist Job Description Summary Support quality objectives and ownership within the manufacturing environment to achieve highest level quality standards for our customers. Job Description: Responsibilities
• Processing of samples for dimensional and/or metallurgical testing as follows: Forging metallurgical inspection Forging dimensional inspection Machining dimensional inspection Final Audit Inspection (Forging and Machining)
• Data entry (Final Audit, etc.)
• Ensure accurate documentation completion as required
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Effectively communicates with Manufacturing and other departments as required regarding inspection results
• Effectively communicates within the QA department
• Assists with G.R&R studies and density maps
• Provides support to Manufacturing, and other departments as requested.
• As directed by the Quality Group Leader or Quality Manager
Required Skills and Education
• High School Diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of Windows PC with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
• Basic GD&T knowledge
• Measuring devices (CMM, optical comparator, other handheld measuring devices)
• Basic metallurgy
