CCPS is partnering with the School Based Health Solutions Network to provide RDC and GRC with a Transitional Coach. The Transitional Coach model promotes a system of care offering evidence-based intervention, prevention, and care coordination services to school-aged children. This partnership will assist in expanding quality mental healthcare access on public school campuses and improving social, emotional, behavioral, family, and wellness outcomes. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in one of the following fields: social work, professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners specializing in psychology or psychiatry are also eligible. The ideal candidate has experience providing therapeutic services to diverse student populations, including students dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. The Transitional Coach conducts assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides evidence-based therapy to help students reach their mental health goals.
