OTTUMWA COMMUNITY SCHOOLS Ottumwa, Iowa POSITION TITLE: Substitute Computer Technician DEPARTMENT: Technology REPORTS TO: Director of Technology QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
• Familiar with PC's and general networking.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows, Chrome OS, iOS.
• Familiar with Google Products (G Suite).
• Familiar with configuring workstations for use on network.
• Knowledge of wireless technology a plus.
• Highly developed communication and human relations skills.
• Such other qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assist with service, maintenance, and implementation on technology equipment.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides for maintenance/repair services for all technology equipment.
• Sets up users' accounts and email accounts on machines.
• Assists school staff in installing and troubleshooting software.
• Assists in maintaining inventory of computer equipment in the district.
• Performs other such duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
