High School Boys Golf Coach Lisbon Community School District is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Head High School Boys Golf Coach. The successful candidate will develop student-athletes, a positive team culture, and maintain a safe and competitive athletic environment. Responsibilities:
• Organize and lead practices and competitions.
• Teach golf skills, strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Support the academic and personal growth of athletes.
• Communicate with athletes, parents, and school staff.
• Promote a positive team culture and represent Lisbon Schools professionally.
• Follow all school, conference, and state athletic policies.
Qualifications:
• Current Iowa Department of Education Coaching Authorization required.
• Coaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the sport and its rules, techniques, and strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching team.
• Completion of required district trainings or willingness to complete them.
