About this role
Shawsheen Valley Technical High School is seeking a Chapter 74 CTE Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year to provide instructional and behavioral support to students across multiple CTE programs, and to support IEP modifications, accommodations, and behavioral plans for students in CTE settings. The paraprofessional assigned to this role will be required to work collaboratively with CTE instructors and Special Education staff to support student success in both shop and classroom settings. Examples of potential CTE programs this paraprofessional could be assigned to support include but are not limited to the following programs: Carpentry, Masonry, Plumbing, HVAC, Automotive Technology, Metal Fabrication, etc. The ideal candidate must be willing to assist in a variety of settings, including construction-related programs. Experience supporting students in Chapter 74/CTE programs preferred. Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in hands-on or applied learning environments, preferred.
