This is an exciting opportunity to join the trust as an Administrative Assistant for Care Group B. You would be working across several specialties; ENT, Audiology, Oral Health, Ophthalmology, Breast, Plastic Surgery and Dermatology.We are a growing team that supports each other and works well together.

Job description Job responsibilities

As post holder you will:Type/quality check patient letters relating to clinics in accurate and timely manner and be able to prioritise workload with the support from the Medical Secretaries/Admin manager.Deal with patients and external and internal staff enquiries in person or via the telephone, in a courteous and confidential manner and provide assistance as required, this will include booking or cancelling outpatient appointments. Carry out receptionist duties, including prioritising and arranging appointments and maintaining the various appointment systems, identifying test requests and investigations, and coordinating the various clinics within the department.Update RTT in accordance with Trust guidelines. Assist the Administration and Clerical team with data management utilising departmental patient databases. Including keeping up to date with relevant RTT training and maintain knowledge of PTL and trust targets. Its expected the role supports maintaining the departments data quality PTL metrics alongside supporting administrative roles.
