About this role
As a Laundry Worker / Textile Production Worker, you will work together with your colleagues to ensure that the laundry process runs smoothly. You will work in an active production environment where large quantities of textiles are processed every day. Your day may start by checking and sorting incoming laundry. You will process personal clothing belonging to clients of healthcare institutions and make sure every item is registered and processed correctly. Using a scanner and digital systems, you will register the textiles and link them to the correct order. You will then place the laundry on the correct carts and sort it according to the required washing process. You will also be flexibly deployed across different departments, such as: - The dirty laundry department, where you sort and process incoming textiles. - The packing department, where you prepare clean laundry. - The finishing department, where you complete and check the finished products. Because you rotate between different tasks and departments, your work remains varied. You will be physically active throughout the day and work closely with your colleagues. No experience in a laundry or production environment? No problem! You will receive proper training and guidance and will have the opportunity to learn the job. Please note that the working hours are important to consider. You will work from Monday to Friday according in day shift: - Working times: 07:30 – 16:30 - One day per week you will work a half day: 07:30 – 12:00 or 12:00 – 16:30. You can work 24 or 36 hours per week. Around public holidays, you may occasionally be required to work on a Saturday to make up for a missed working day.
