As a Department Mechanic, you are responsible for keeping machines, installations, and buildings in good working order. Do you find it appealing to combine technology, maintenance, and production? As a Department Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and installations. You will assess the maintenance condition, repair defects where possible, and immediately report findings if a malfunction is more serious. You will also perform preventive and corrective maintenance at scheduled times to ensure machines continue to run reliably. When a malfunction occurs, you will locate the problem and investigate the possible cause. You will assess whether immediate repair is necessary and perform emergency repairs in consultation with your supervisor. Additionally, you will participate in larger projects, revisions, and technical improvements. Your duties also include maintaining tools, updating documentation, and keeping the workplace tidy. You will work in a 2-shift system. The early shift is from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM and the late shift is from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You will have two 15-minute breaks per day.
