There are no limits to where you can take your career. Job Summary As Shop Floor Scheduler, you will manage all planning activities within a production area. This includes managing visual systems to determine and monitor the sequence of production orders, ensure the availability of resources and create and maintain the optimal production sequence. What you'll do - Production planning: Create and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels and production capacity. - Resource allocation: Allocate resources such as labour, machinery and materials to meet production requirements. - Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including production, logistics and procurement, to ensure smooth production flow. - Monitoring: Track the progress of production orders and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing requirements or solve problems. - Inventory management: Manage inventory levels to avoid over- or shortages while minimizing inventory costs. - Problem solving: Identify and address production bottlenecks, delays and other issues that may affect production schedules.
