Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) recherche un DEPOSITARY BANK OFFICER - ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT FUNDS - CDD 18 mois (M/F) Poste CDD 18 mois, basé à Luxembourg, Temps plein MISSION PRINCIPALE Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) acts as Depositary Bank for a broad range of traditional and alternative investment funds across various client segments. To support the continued development of our Alternative Investment Funds activity, we are looking for a Depositary Officer with proven practical knowledge of the AIFMD framework and alternative fund structures. This is a varied role requiring sound judgement, strong attention to detail, effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. ACTIVITES - As a Depositary Officer within our Alternative Funds' team, your main responsibilities will be to: - Perform daily cash-flow monitoring and reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and escalate exceptions in accordance with internal procedures; - Perform ownership verification and record-keeping activities based on supporting documentation, including the application of the look-through principle where relevant; - Carry out depositary oversight activities in relation to AIFMs and delegated service providers, including due diligence assessments; - Contribute to fund risk assessments, taking into account the Funds' investment strategies, structures and underlying asset classes; - Prepare and present internal and external reporting; - Participate in projects, requests for proposals, audits and holding confirmation campaigns; - Support the continuous improvement of processes and controls, ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies; - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers. PROFIL To succeed in this role, you should have: - A +3/5 university degree in economics, management, accounting, finance or a related field; relevant professional experience will also be considered; - First experience in Depositary Bank field; - Sound knowledge of depositary duties and responsibilities under the AIFMD framework; - Good understanding of alternative investment fund structures and alternative asset classes; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and connect information from different sources; - A well-organized, proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; - High standards of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail; - The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment; - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of eFront would be considered an advantage; - Fluency in English and French. The position is full time, based in Luxembourg, and reports to the Head of Alternative Investment Fund Depositary Bank Team.
