About this role
*Hiring a storefront clerk* We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their needs, and recommending baked goods. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's operations, including slicing packing and selling baked goods and cash handling. Faced paced French artisanal bakery with specialty coffee and tea. Tuesday-Friday occasional Saturdays.
*Duties*
Greet customers warmly and assist them in purchasing products.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and food preparation areas.
Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product expiration dates.
Provide information about products to customers.
Adhere to all food handling regulations and safety protocols.
