Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment. Repair cable signals. Test equipment to locate transmission faults. Install trunking systems, circuits and equipment. Complete and maintain test and service reports. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access. Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems. Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers. Splice, join and connect wires. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
