Requirements: Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet technologies.Advanced knowledge of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VPC/LACP and QoS.Experience with Cisco ACI, including spine/leaf, tenants, VRFs, BDs, EPGs and contracts.Experience in network security, including NGFWs, IPsec, SSL VPN and SD-WAN security.Experience with F5 BIG-IP, L4/L7 load balancing, SSL offloading and GSLB.Experience with data centre networking and high-availability architectures.Network automation experience using Python, Ansible or network APIs is desirable.SC cleared. Responsibilities: Take a technical lead role in the design, implementation and delivery of complex multi-vendor network and security solutions.Lead the design and implementation of complex network and security solutions.Produce HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans and operational runbooks.Configure and troubleshoot enterprise and service-provider network infrastructure.Provide technical leadership and act as a senior escalation point.Work with customers, architects, project teams and vendors to deliver solutions.Lead technical discussions and present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Mentor and support other engineers.Conduct design validation, testing and technical assessments. We are offering a 6-month contract for a Network Security Architect role based in Hampshire with a hybrid working arrangement and a day rate of circa £600.
