Salary: £100,800 - 100,800 per year
Requirements: Strong commercial experience as a Data Architect.Excellent knowledge of data modelling, architecture principles and patterns.Experience with APIs, microservices, interoperability and metadata management.Strong understanding of the Enterprise Data Management lifecycle.Experience across areas such as data governance, security, data quality, MDM or API management.Experience defining data standards and assuring data solutions.Strong analytical, requirements definition and stakeholder communication skills.Active, transferable SC Security Clearance required.Desirable: TOGAF, Zachman, PEAF or similar architecture frameworks.Desirable: Healthcare technology experience.Desirable: IAM, Single Sign-On or identity management experience.Desirable: Knowledge of messaging, directory and interoperability standards.Desirable: Knowledge of healthcare standards such as FHIR, SNOMED CT, openEHR or relevant ISO standards. Responsibilities: Support a key staff identity/index workstream within an Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) environment.Design data models and architecture that meet strategic business requirements while aligning with wider enterprise standards, governance and solution architecture.Design, maintain and develop data models, including reverse engineering from existing systems.Define data architecture, standards and patterns aligned to enterprise principles.Support data profiling, source-system analysis and systems integration.Design and assure solutions involving APIs, microservices, interoperability and metadata management.Support data governance, security, data quality and lifecycle management.Define functional and non-functional data requirements.Maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories and architecture documentation.Communicate architecture decisions and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. We are supporting a major public sector healthcare technology programme. This is a contract role inside IR35, offering up to £400 per day, remote working with onsite presence in Leeds one day per month, and a duration until August 2027. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced Data Architect to contribute to a nationally important healthcare identity and access programme within a highly regulated environment.
