Salary: £37,000 - 38,000 per year
Requirements: We ideally want you to have a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another strong STEM discipline.We also expect A levels at A-B grades or equivalent.You should have strong analytical and problem-solving ability.You should have programming experience in C#, C++, Java, Python, or a similar language.You should have some knowledge of SQL and databases.You should have personal, university, or commercial software development projects.You should have a genuine interest in becoming an accomplished Software Engineer.Experience with C#, .NET, React, Git, Docker, or Kubernetes is advantageous. Responsibilities: We will have you design, develop, and test software, principally using C# and .NET.We will have you build back-end applications and new product features.We will have you work with SQL Server and relational databases.We will have you develop with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.We will have you work within an Agile/Scrum engineering environment.We will have you test, debug, and improve existing applications.We will have you use Git for source control and peer review code.We will have you gain exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud, and modern application architecture.We will have you explore new technologies, frameworks, and approaches to software development.
