About this role

Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year

Requirements: Completed technical studies or training as an IT specialist with a focus on passive network connectivity and system integration, or a comparable qualificationMinimum of 6 years of management and hands-on experience in the data center or telecommunications passive infrastructure environmentExperience with the design, installation, and commissioning of passive assets such as duct, fibre, CAR, CMMR, and structured cablingProficiency in Visio, AutoCad, CRM, or other design platformsManagement and budget experienceAbility to combine business requirements and best practices to architect a cost-effective, resilient infrastructure solutionStrong decision-making skills, assertiveness, and inspirational leadershipKnowledge of planning and project management concepts, including how to establish, organize, and run meetings and working groupsAbility to take comprehensive notes and communicate project, task, and status updates clearly in writing and verballyExperience developing and executing strategic policies, including selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results Responsibilities: Lead the centralized ownership, harmonization, and end-to-end service delivery of Network Reference Designs for the EMEA region in alignment with Global Reference Design standardsOversee the development of foundational communications infrastructure architectural documentation for EMEA data center new construction projectsCoordinate closely with design and construction managers, sales and commercial teams, client fit-out groups, and external consultantsEnsure local, regional, and global codes and standards are consistently applied to designs and design specificationsMinimize lead times and costs while delivering a high-quality client experienceProvide accountability for network design projects across EMEA in line with GRD, OPR, and design standardsUndertake network due diligence for new GDC sites, including defining providers and budgetsOversee the provisioning of telecommunications services for new site services, modifications, and upgrades across EMEAEnsure builds meet product, IT, client, and regulatory requirementsDevelop and refine documentation, policies, procedures, and methodologies in alignment with the service ownership blueprintCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evolve site infrastructure and improve cost, lead time, and client service outcomesDefine specifications for products and services used for structured cabling and passive infrastructureUse Visio, Bluebeam, or Bim360 models to produce infrastructure design and build plansIdentify, harmonize, and centralize as-built documentation with the wider GDC teamPlan, organize, supervise, and direct IT infrastructure projects and activities across EMEA Technologies: AIArchitectCRMNetwork More:
